Hag still

My new Showreel is on YouTube

Today I have decided to quit acting and join the Mars One project instead. It means that soon I will be spending the rest of my life on Mars as part of the first permanent human settlement there. I can’t wait, I’m so excited!

… This was a (significantly bad) April Fools’ Day joke of course.

In other news, I have very recently uploaded a freshly edited version of my acting showreel. It’s on YouTube guys, go and check it out:

Shopping Spree close up

We’re going to kill it at the festivals!

I just got to see a preview of “Shopping Spree” and I’m in love! Well done to everyone that has been involved in it.

I already miss playing my character Stacey who is one of the feistiest girls you’ll ever meet… and the never-ending fights with her boyfriend Nick. And the late night shoots in the supermarket. And the crazy props and costumes. And the amazing cast and crew!

I’m sure this movie is going to kill it (literally) at the festivals once it’s done in post-production!

“Shopping Spree” wrapped

I just wrapped filming “Shopping Spree” and what a blast I had shooting this film! The cast and crew have been an absolute pleasure to work with and I made so many new friends. I can’t wait to see it once it’s done in post-production. The film is a murder mystery which is set in a supermarket. After a late-night killing spree the only surviving characters are a bunch of unique individuals who try to solve the question as to who the killer was… and it has to be one of them. Here are some still images from the shoot.

Hag

Coming soon: “Hag”

Coming soon: “Hag” starring myself and the awesome Oliver Knight. I had a blast shooting this film with the best team I could have wished for. When I first read the script for this production I had a hard time falling asleep as it was just too scary – but so good! I hope you’ll like it as much as I did and enjoyed being a part of it. In this movie I am playing a young woman who moves into a house which she inherited with her fiancé. It all seems perfect – but then strange things start to happen and she finds herself becoming possessed by an unknown force. Watch this space.

Seancegimpedit2

My first time filming in 360 degrees

This month I died a little… just before wrapping a very stylish 1920s horror flick called “Seance”. It was my first experience working with a 360° VR camera. It was also my first on-screen death. And my first time talking to the dead… who then came to haunt me and the other characters who made me call for them. Many firsts ticked with this project, so it was a good one. I particularly liked the brilliant vintage costumes, I wish I could have kept some of them for myself! Here are some selfies featuring my slit throat and the glorious turban I was wearing.
